This hot tub is ancient and broken and I want to move it out of an enclosed porch. It is 7' X 5' and about 4' high. Is made of fiberglass and weighs about 500 lbs. What is the best way to get it out of there cost effectively without renting a crane. chop it up with a chain saw and carry out the pieces?

I have renovated one of the rooms in my basement and when I did I needed to relocate the hot and cold water pipes that were running below the 2 x 6 beams through the beams to allow me to drywall the ceiling without obstruction.
I didn't change the outlay of the pipes at all. I simply shut off the water, bled the lines, cut them and then ran the pipe through the 2 x 6's and soldered them back together.
I then turned the main water supply back on but now I don't have nearly the same water pressure.
Can someone tell me why this might be and what I can do to fix it?

My water heater I bought from Sears only like 3 years ago wouldnt keep its pilot light . I called Sears and they came out to service. They couldnt fix it and had to order a part but they said to call ASAP when I get the part and they would schedule another service call. Well I had to wait a whole WEEK for an appointment and had no hot water. They came out the second time and STILL couldnt fix it and had to order ANOTHER part. I started calling and complaining and all I get is that they are "sorry" and it cant be helped. This is RIDICULOUS!! I pay good money for them to service my applance and they dont know what they are doing!!!!!!! Very frustrating.

What are the dangers of using a regular appliance paint inside?
The unit works great otherwise and I would hate to throw it out if it can still serve its purpose with no danger to us.

The plumber in question installed a combi boiler. I had paid him with the understanding he would return after his holiday to complete the installation and fill in the warranty card.He also has to notify the council he has installed a new boiler. I do not have his Corgi number, so I cannot report him to them as they work on numbers only. I do have his mobile and home phone number as well as his business name. He promises faithfully on the phone to come in the week but never arrives.

Particularly at our kitchen sink, it barely runs. We have checked our water heater and it has kicked in and the water pipe is hot. Tonight we added pellets to our water softner, which was low. We recently installed a new and larger water heater about 1 month ago, and now our water pressure varies when one machine is running like the washing machine or dishwasher but today nothing else was running and now we only have a trickle of cold water from our kitchen sink. Any advice?

some of you may remember my cry about my 17.5hp b&s engine not having a high power out put. the engine revvs slowly, and the mower bogs down whenever i go up a slight hill.
im using the carb from my old engine which worked perfectly. i replaced the fuel filter, air filter, and fuel lines. i have clean gas, and i tried adujsting the air/fuel ratio using the needle in the carb. i just cant think of anything else that would be causing the problem.
what else is there?

Heating/Cooling ducts in my newly constructed home are dented. Can this cause issues down the road. It looks as if when the plumbing crew came in, they had no room to run their pipes so they dented in the heating ducts to accomidate their pipes.

We live in the worst termite area of our city. We have already had severe damage from an infestation. Last week our termite company said they were switching from bait stations to Termidor poured around our home, and that they would "only" charge us $500 since we have had a contract with them for so long. Last month I and my husband both lost our jobs. $500 right now might just as well be 5 million. I have found Termidor online and we can do it ourselves. Have you done this? Successfully? As far as we know, we do not currently have any termites, and we know what to look for when we inspect our home.

Just moved into a new condo, and the electric fireplace has been used with wood. Looks a little cloggy when you look up it. Want to start having fires. Should I get it checked to make sure it's OK? How much does this cost?
