The seal on the door of my fridge isn't working anymore. Can I replace this myself or do I have to buy a new fridge?

Try lifting or pulling aside, you should see how its attached. Mine is held by short screws. You would just remove the screws, slide out the seal and replace. I don't know how many are that easy, you need to look over your own. Buy a replacement before you take out the old, they may be hard to find if the fridge is very old.

It is very time consuming but a lot of people do this type of repair themselves. Make sure you soak the gasket in hot water first for 15 - 20 minutes. start at the corner. Do half at a time and you'll be fine.

It can be replaced. Might not be easy, but with a few instructions you should be able to do it. Ask an appliance repair place for some helpful hints.

it can be replaced easily - but get the fridge repair company to do it.... however, if your fridge is not cold - it may be the compressor is dead - so check first.

I've done it, and it's not easy. That's what we have repairmen for. Repairmen may cost a lot, but they're cheaper than new refrigerators, higher energy cost and spoiled food.
