I clean hotel rooms and today they ran this machine in one, and it smelled so bad. They said it was something ozone or something. Is this bad to my health?

the thing is only a couple years old. When you press the button nothing happens. It is an electric dryer, does anyone know what it could be? Is there a fuse that is out inside the dryer, could it be the electrical outlet? How can the light be on but the dryer does not work? it does not spin or anything.

What is the cheapest and easiest way to install vents. Is it really a big deal that the sewage is not vented. The sewage does not go into a city sewage system. I have a septic tank.

I've replaced new blades. the belt is good on the lower deck. When I engage the handle to cut, the front engine pulley produces smoke. it spins as it should, and the 2 rear idler pulleys spin also. Why is the engine pulley not engaging the belt correctly? Is it that the Belt keeper pins are out of alignment?
I have searched the web with no success. I know there is a simple answer to this problem.

Just curious. Had a call about a womans roof leaking today and she says it is done with white EPDM but when asked about the flat roof she informed me that it has a severe slope and wasn't flat at all.

I took down two single tube four foot old fluorescent fixtures and I am going to replace them with single tube four foot fluorescent T8 fixtures.
They are end to end and controlled by the same light switch.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for how to wire these together so they both come on/off together?
The junction box that feeds the power is in the middle of where the fixtures are going (I guess that doesnt really matter).
All help appreciated!!

The house is in a neighborhood with gas lines, but I don't know how close the main gas line is. It's roughly 1,200 square foot. It also has a fireplace, which will help with the heating costs but we want to find out how much it would be to make the change from oil to gas, as oil can be so expensive.

We have recently moved to a refurbished house. The previous owners put a new roof on the garage, but did nothing to the walls and the bricks look very old and some have crumbled. I was wondering - is there something like plaster that I can put on them (on the inside) that covers them and helps stabilize them - by that I mean fills in any missing mortar and broken brick. I mean something like a plaster skim.
thanks in advancel

Water sample shows large amounts of fecies in pool..thanks to a feud with the neighbors... was told we have to drain the pool. Pool is about 4 months old, and I am worried about the liner shrinking up or the walls collapsing. What is the proper way to do this?

I have a issue here and I hope someone can tell me the answers to my question? They are working on building us a new bridge across the creek here on the road I live.. They accidently cut into the main water line... They turned the water back on after 11 hours without any problems, they did this now 2 other times. I was home 2 of the times they cut it off and knew what to do when I turned on the faucets. Well the 3rd time I wasn't home.My mother had lung surgery for cancer and I was with her and when I came home I had to run the dogs some water that stays in my home and when I turned that faucet on it about blew it off the sink, I didnt go in the back bedroom where the hot water heater is.No one stays in there.I waited 2 days until I knew my mom was ok and went into the bedroom to move the computer in there and water was standing in the carpet. The hot water heater the lines coming up through the floor was busted.. can that do this? If you need more information please e-mail me,

1) Anything I can do to try to get the heat going - what should I check. I don't know how to tell if valve is opened or closed. I have baseboard water heat -- I've heard about bleeding the baseboard units - wd this help -- how many would I have to do this to (just turn the screw on the end, right).
2) What is the best gas boiler, if I need a new one.
