Heating/Cooling ducts in my newly constructed home are dented. Can this cause issues down the road. It looks as if when the plumbing crew came in, they had no room to run their pipes so they dented in the heating ducts to accomidate their pipes.

If this is a new home and the walls haven't been finished then contact your general contractor and tell him you want these replaced or repaired. Even though it would take a considerable amount of damage to cause a large reduction in air pressure or restriction in intake this is still a new house and you should n't have this type of damge already.
IF he complain's about it tell him you don't care about his opinion, your the one paying the bill.
Even if you never seen these ducts again because they are behind a wall there is no reason for the plumber or any one to have damaged them in any manner.
You wouldn't buy a new cars with dents with would you a new heating system.

The plumbers were lazy and wrong. The mechanical contractor installs first because heat ducts are big and can go in only so many places. The plumber installs next because pipes are smaller than heat runs but bigger that electrical wires. The electrician comes last because wires are easier to go around the first two contractors. In a new house, how can a plumber not have room to run pipes? The general contractor should have stopped the plumbers from their shoddy work.

If its just small dents it should not be a problem. But if it reduces the size of the duct over about 25% you could have heating imbalance from room to room. If it is more than 50% contact your builder and have him contact the subcontractors to correct. A blocked duct could cause problems with you heater/cooler.
