No, you should be fine. I have had a similar experience on many occasions. The odorant can give some people a headache but that is about all.

The bad thing about propane is it creeps along the floor and puddles up,unlike natural gas which dissipates upwards into the air. That's because propane is heavier than air. Make sure to open all the doors and ventilate the area real well before lighting any pilot or making any fire. When produced, propane is colorless and odorless. For safety and detection purposes, a chemical odorant (ethyl mercaptan) is added to propane. The presence of the odorant alerts you of a potential propane gas leak. If you continue to breathe the propane out right then you will eventually pass out and you could die. Short term effects are minor but will cause dizziness and lightheadedness. Get some fresh air.

Get frsh air propane disapates pretty quick so open windows and turn on fan. I am more concerned about the leak. Propane tanks can get up to some pretty good pressure and if theres one leak could be another. You don't want to end up like the comics when they turn on a light or stove or a match and then "BOOM". So have that checked. The tank should be outside, but I am not sure if it's a BBQ deal.

Also when in nuclear construction we used argon gas and when someone got knocded out by it we actually had to drape them upside down over the stairwell rails and hold them until the gas came out as it was a heavy gas. OSHA finally made it law that the different gases had to be marked as some folks would hook up to propane instead of oxygen and get blown up, don't take chances

Do not take any chances call somebody about the tank, whoever fills it, I do not want to read a story about you being the first Yahoo answers person to go to the moon (like in the cartoons). Take care.
