I have a property that I plan to keep for 5-7 more years and then the buyers are going to destroy the buildings and rebuild new homes. The tenant in the big house gets the electric bill but there is a tiny house next door that uses some of the electricity. They are friends, but that may not always be the case. I was thinking that I would have a "submeter" if there is such a thing installed on the small house. Then the two tenants could divide the electric bill. Can I buy one of these things and do I need an electrician to install it? There isn't a lot of electricity going into the small house as there are only two 15 amp fuses.

I have a very old Elna super, I’ve used it for a few years and I’ve never had a manual. I re wound my bobbin like I’ve done for years, I put the new bobbin on the bobbin winder on top of the machine, push it to the right and loosen the wheel on the side of the machine to stop the needle from going up and down as I wind the bobbin, when I was done I put the bobbin winder back to the left but I couldn’t re tighten the wheel. If I step on the petal the outer wheel spins but the only way to move the needle it to manually turn the inner wheel, I’ve hade this problem before but I cant remember how to fix it, please help!

2400 psi....used to have to hold the gun with both hands now I just go along with one hand on the nozzle and it takes FOREVER to clean just the walkway and I have to practically touch the cement to get it really good. There is a white, green, red, and yellow attachment. The red works really well but is pin point (draw your name type) and would take a REALLY REALLY long time to do anything. Any suggestions. I'm obviously not very technical so I would appreciate detailed information please and Thank YOu Very Much!!!! Engine runs fine just little pressure.

The power appears to be out and the control pad doesn't work, unless i turn a burner knob on. It buzzes for a moment and then the lights come on and flash 12:00. It allows me to set the time, push bake and even set the heat. But no heat in the burner or oven, and if I turn the burner knob off, the whole thing goes dead again. Help, it conveniently happened when the warranty expired.

The water was leaking from my air conditioner and when I found out it was to late. The water actually got on the plug and the plug has a circuit breaker on it. Everytime I put it in the wall now it trips on its circuit breaker, not the socket here at our house. When it dries will it work again or will I have to buy a new air conditioner?

We live in a 46 unit 3 level condo unit. Our boiler room for heat has two boilers for hot water heat and two hot water heaters.
Does this room need an intake fan to bring in fresh outside air and should it be running 24 hours a week and 52 weeks a year.

Hi. I have a 25 year old Shop-Vac that emits a horrible plastic-smelling smoke when it's running. Also, if you look into the vents on the top of it, I can see a large greenish arc coming from the inside of it. My assumption is that due to the age the motor is finally giving out on it. I'm afraid to use it because I'm afraid further use might cause it to catch fire. I had to rent one a new one to finish the job I had to do. Any info on what might be wrong?

Last night I pulled a load out of my dryer after drying them. I switched my wet clothes from the wash into the dryer, and it all of a sudden wouldn't turn on. It makes no noise whatsoever. I flipped the breaker twice, and still nothing. What could be wrong?

The roof on my dad's back room has been leaking pretty badly for about two years. He's put tarps on the roof itself and on the ceiling, but that no longer stops the leak. The extension's roof is flat and shingled. At this point the water damage is so bad the ceiling beams are exposed. He hasn't called a roofer because he's on a fixed income and is terrified of the costs. Anyone have any alternatives to offer? Thank you!

My boyfriend had some friends over and someone kicked the door when it was locked, so the side where the doorknob is all busted. I heard wood putty is best for fixing holes in the doors but that would be hard to do since the hole where the doorknob goes through is all busted as well. What would be the best way to fix it without buying a whole new door? Thanks for the help!
