Last night I pulled a load out of my dryer after drying them. I switched my wet clothes from the wash into the dryer, and it all of a sudden wouldn't turn on. It makes no noise whatsoever. I flipped the breaker twice, and still nothing. What could be wrong?

I checked to see if the door switch was working. It is still there and looks the same as before. I pushed it a few times and it still seemed normal. The plug is plugged in all the way, and there is no light switch that controls it.

It may be your door switch is shot. I had this go. Check for a broken tab, or see if your outlet is plugged in all the way, You can unhook this door switch, but you have to open the top of the dryer to do so. There really isn't much to a dryer.

Is it plugged in, do you have a light switch in the area that controls the plug in?
Also, I believe most appliances have internal fuses as a safety measure. You might have blown this internal fuse.
Previous poster made a good point with the Door switch going bad too.
