I recently moved to a new place that has an inground pool. It has 25,000 gallons of water and an automatic pool cleaner.

I have a 24 foot section of cast iron drain pipe and it has just been pumped out (septic tank) it was close to the top but not covering the drain - I put a camera up the exit from the tank side and the inside is about 2" the rest is clogged with what the septic pump guy called buildup.

Roto ruter is not an option - to far away - they dont service here
What can I put in there to open the drain up?
I was told muratic acid will destroy the toilet
and the sulferic acid will damage the pipe.

back again. i posted a vid this time:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-XLPNazDF4

you cant really hear on the camera, but when i go up hills with the blades engaged, the rpms drop substantially. when i go down a hill, the engine sounds beautiful and high. when the blades are off, the engine runs pretty good unless heading up a steep hill.

and whats the deal with the revving? its terrible, and whats that bit of black smoke coming from the exhaust? fuel setting too rich? which way do i turn the adjustment screw to change the air/fuel ratio on the carb (counter-clockwise)?

it may sound decent to you, but i want this engine to be like my old one, which was essentially the same exact engine, just a 17hp model made by Intek.

So I'm looking at this house. It's suppose to have a new roof on the house in '01, and a new roof on the garage in '00. Please let me know what you think. I know that these are digital pictures and they aren't that good, but does the roof look dipped to you? Curved? Is that ok? Normal? Any help would be appreciated!

We have an older sprinkler system that has never caused trouble. Now, two of the sprikler heads on the same zone are "bubbling" watter (very slow leaking, if you will). Anyone know what is causing this and how I can fix it. Thanks :)

my house was built in 1998 it has a central ac unit. just about 2 days ago i had the fan on and there was continuous noise coming from inside the furnace, it souded like an old blower problem. then when i swith from fan to cool there was no noise only at the end when the cooling interval was shutting off, and the same noise occured. today my ac unit is not working at all what could be the problem. all i can think of is a motor by the blower fan, if it carries one. all other help welcome.

I own (mortgaged) a middle terraced 3 bed house in South East England built in the 50's. I have recently been informed that the wiring is not safe and have asked three different contractors to give me a quote for a full re-wire. Does anyone know if there are grants available for this as I already have huge debts and don't have the extra funds available.

I have a room with about 7 wall mounted lights on a single circuit, with an OLD dimmer switch. Regular CFLs don't work with dimmer switches, and the new "dimmable" CFLs generally only work with NEWER dimmer switches. Since we don't USE the dimmer at all and I have a TON of free CFLs from Yahoo Answers, can I just replace my dimmer switch with a normal ON/OFF switch and then use the CFLs? Or is there still a problem because there are 7 of these lights on one circuit? Anybody know?

Just bought a home with new slate floors and slate bathtub walls. How can I tell if they have been sealed? If they have not, do they have to be sealed? And if they have to be sealed, where can I buy sealer at?
Also- there are marble or granite tile counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom. Do they have to be sealed?
Obviously I've never dealt with natural stone tiles before.
Thank you for your help!
