Rust ate my tub around the drain?

It ate a groove around the drain. What can I use to fill it in?

You could try JB Weld. After applying and sanding, use an appliance touch-up paint. Removing the drain flange first would be best if possible.

on mine i sanded it to remove the rust and painted it with rustoleum paint that almost perfectly matched....tape aff the drain and go to town...it is probably a short term fix but i sold the house
