We live in a 46 unit 3 level condo unit. Our boiler room for heat has two boilers for hot water heat and two hot water heaters.
Does this room need an intake fan to bring in fresh outside air and should it be running 24 hours a week and 52 weeks a year.

i work at a church that has a boiler room, i just had to paint it. every thing in there is extremily HOT! and yes i think it does, at least the one where i work has it.

Doubt that the code requires the fan but it will require a certain minimum vent dimension and it cannot be something that can be closed. Fans? No, not required by code.
