I bought a new Craftsman PROFFESIONAL router and one day it quit. It was only the second project it had been used on and all of a sudden it died. I did not smell any burning so I am pretty sure the motor is fine. I took it apart and every thing seems to be okay. I am wondering if the problem lies with the circiut board, but I do not know how to check it out.

We bought our home a couple of years ago. The first year we lived here, we had to hire a plumber to clear our outside drain pipe. This year we started having the same problem, so my husband cleaned our pipes with an electric snake like the plumber had done. Everything works fine until it rains. Everytime it starts raining, our pipes start gurgling, you can smell sewer and water leaks from the base of our toilet. We have had a significant amount of rain last night and this morning. Apparently the water built up so much that it caused the drain pipe that leads from our sump pump in the basement to the drain to come apart and spray all over our basement. My husband took the cover off the drain outside to let the water come out there. For now, the problems have stopped. Can anyone tell me what the problem could possibly be and how to fix it. Much thanks!

I need to clean my couch made out of micro fiber. I have read a few previous answers to this question about just using a damp cloth. That just does not seem like enough cleaning to me. Would it be safe to have it steam cleaned or a scotch guard put on it after cleaning?

It's not worth the cost of repair, but I'm wondering if there could be something simple gone wrong I could tinker with.

It's almost identical to this one:

Any tips...?

Some clowns decided to make it look like we had a White Christmas, by dumping copius amounts of flour on my lawn. It may have seemed funny to them, but I'm left with quite a mess, and very irrate neighbors, due to the smell that permiates the air around my property!

If I know that the Electrical Equipment is working at say 40% then I am paying for say 100 and getting 40 out of it and 60% of electricity is just wasted. Also washing, for example done during the pre-defined cycle would also be of inferior quality. Then I may buy a new equipment which will have higher efficiency and thereby also improve the end result - better washing quality. And more importantly save the electricity wastage and also save my money. Same is true for Fridge and other equipments. If I save 1 unit daily then I would end up saving 365 x Rs.5 per unit =Rs.1825 in a year. Imagine if 1 Crore people are using washing machines/fridge in India it would amount to what?

Something got stuck in our garbage disposal...well..we were instructed not to use it untill it was "fixed" by the company who came out to fix it. Well my husband forgot and shoved food down there. Well because we were told not to we didnt turn it on to get rid of the food down there. Since it sat there for 4 freaking days because the people couldent come to fix it until then we got nats. The garbage disposal got fixed to day and the food is gone but the nats have decided to stay. What can we do to get rid of them. I think they have decided not to leave

How do I keep my new cherry wood dinner table and chairs looking new... I have put a very nice wax on it and it is very nice an shinny. I have grandchildren who love to sit at the table and do work. I don't want the table to get scraches on it or even stains on it.
I put a table cloth on it but then I don't get to see the beauty of the table. I want to put a clear plastic cover on it but was told that could cause damage to the table because it could sweat. Can someone tell me the best thing to do to keep my table and chairs beautiful forever.
