It's not worth the cost of repair, but I'm wondering if there could be something simple gone wrong I could tinker with.

It's almost identical to this one:

Any tips...?

I'd say pop it open and see if it has a fuse inside. You might be able to replace it.

Check the back for a knob or door marked fuse! If you can not easily find one throw the darn thing away. If you can easily find a fuse have it checked. A bad fuse muse be replaced with a good one of exactly the same rating. This should cause heater to work. If not toss it in trash and get another one. period end of story.

Hi,

It could either be the thermostat went out or the heating element went out or another electrical problem. I would check the cord first to make sure it isn't cracked and the plug as well. Have you plugged it into another outlet?
Sometimes the outlets go and you know not to plug it into a power strip or a regular house extension cord?
It would be cheaper to replace it then to have it fixed if it is like the one you have linked to.
I use the oil filled radiant heaters. My oldest one is 3 years old.
Good luck.

I would not tinker with a space heater, they are one of the leading causes of house fires. I would buy a new one. Then once spring comes, buy a couple more as they will be reduced in price. I have three which I picked up at half price .

I had one like that, which was a heater and a fan. The heat in it stoped working, but the fan worked. I notice with alot of space heaters like that one and the oil filled radiators, if you use them alot they quit working within a year or so. there not really meant to be used all the time. we used them for 2 years as our man heating source. and went through alot of them.
