I have just replaced the washers on a downstairs hotwater tap. I had to empty the emmersion heater to carry out the job. Now the job is complete, I have turned the cold water supply tap back on, the header tank has filled up, but the emmersion tank won't fill.
Is there a plumber out there who could advice me please, pretty please with a cherry on top !

my wife and daughters claim that the water goes cold on them about half way thru a shower , but me and my son have never had this happen to us. i have taken what i concider to be an extra long shower and still nothing, dont want to call the landlord because if it is working when im using the hot water there is no way to find anything wrong with it. if im reading the serial # right i belive that the water heater was made in 1991.

There's this mouse in my house, I can hear it walking at night when i'm on my bed.

It got into every single drawer it chewed throught the bottom of the china cabinet. Got into the couch cusions and literally ate its way through all 3 of the cushions. Chewed through boxes in the cupboard, loaves of bread.

I noticed it made a tunnel in the wall in the kitchen so I put a mouse trap there but it never walks on it so the trap is empty and I almost caught my toe in the mouse trap the other night. Is there a way to get rid of this mouse?

It won’t let me sleep. It ate a tunnel in the middle of my bread. Pooped in my bread!!!!

Does anyone know of a product like a brush-on enamel that can be used on stove tops? The enamel is flaking off on my stove top, and the few products I've found says not to use them on surfaces that get hot. My stove looks ugly, and I can't afford to buy a new one right now.

It has 2X4 studs. I have 6" insulation that I was going to separate into 3". Also I was going to use 7/16" OSB. Any other suggestions. I live in NE Wisconsin, and it is a 2 and 1/2 detached garage. I am looking at slowly, but surely, finishing off the garage and perhaps getting a pellet stove later.

I laid the tiles in '98 never having done any tiling before. I did a pretty good job all round EXCEPT for the grouting. I'm thinking about having another crack at it by applying new grout but want to know if I need to dig the old stuff out. ... and how do I do that? Use an angle grinder? How do I avoid chipping the tiles?

Please help me! It is in the negative temps here and my washing machine is leaking all over! I have at least 12 loads to do. The washer has not been used in 8 months and is up against an outdoor facing wall. Could the pump or valves be frozen and if so, what is the remedy? A plumber or appliance guy? I am at a loss.
My neighbor told me hers and her mother's are "frozen". What does this mean? Can anyone help me understand this? It is so freaking cold here, I just cannot believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
