Does anyone know of a product like a brush-on enamel that can be used on stove tops? The enamel is flaking off on my stove top, and the few products I've found says not to use them on surfaces that get hot. My stove looks ugly, and I can't afford to buy a new one right now.

The only method I know involves spray paint. Scrape it off well with a wire brush and then go to your nearest Autozone/Advanced Auto and pick up some high heat paint (made for engines and such) in the color of your choice. Mask everything off and remove the burner coils if it's electric. If it's gas be careful not to spray the burners as they will clog.

they have something like that at Lowe's and Home Depot. look in the appliance department. i can't remember what it's called, but i have used it. just know that it helps if you brush it on, let it dry without using your stove, and then buff it out to get a smooth finish. otherwise it will just look like you painted on it.

They make appliance touch up paint. You can get the exact shade from your local appliance parts store or you can go on line to a growing number of appliance parts web sites.
