We are considering slate floors for the bathroom remodel we are doing. Are they difficult to maintain and are they a good choice for the bathroom?

My walls are dusty lavender, and I want to paint them a wine, burgundy color without covering a mural that is on two walls and meet in the corner. Does anyone have any creative ideas on how to paint around these murals without covering them? Should I just cameo them, and would it look dumb? I painted the murals myself, and am pretty proud of them, and would like to keep them. My comforter set is burgundy, antique gold, and greens, so I thought the wine/burgundy paint would be pretty. There are three windows in the room, and the room is 16x18. I was worried that the lavender paint peeking through the dark paint would not look good. Any creative suggestions out there? Thankyou

It's the only room that does it. I can only think its to do with condensation. The windows are opened to get rid of condensation and clears up quickly. I cannot understand why the paint is peeling.

I am in the process of painting my living room and we are painting over old paneling. We decided not to take off the paneling because we might not be able to repair what is underneath (budget issues)... We plastered over some of the cracks in it, and it's a little lumpy but not too bad.

I was thinking that maybe doing a textured accent on top of the chose paint color, like sponging, would help hide/blend the lumpiness of the plaster.

Does anyone have any good, easy and cheap techniques for doing textured accents? Are there any other things we could do to hide/blend the lumpiness of the plaster?

Is it ok just to ask cabinet company people to just come out and give me estimates? How do I know if I am getting an accurate estimate? How many estimates should I request? How much information do I need to give the estimator? I am concerned about "offending" companies by asking them give me estimates then not following through with the work. We are planning a complete kitchen remodel, floor, cabinets, fixtures appliances. Where should we start to get the best estimate?

First timer here! I have about 10 feet in length and about 3 feet in width. I live in the Lazio region of Italy and have sun almost all day. Some shade provided by trees already there. I would like to have flowers all summer and would love to have the most fragrant flowers possible. When is the best time to plant? And what flowers/plants would you recommend? I love purple coleus, not sure of spelling, will it work as a border for my garden? THanks!

There is really not much on reviews on tankless water heaters including on epinions. Wanted to know your personal experience with them and if you have a well, how it worked out for you. I have an 1100 square foot home and I wanted one for the whole house. Recommendations would be great!
