Okay, my living room sectional is tan, the carpet is tan. I want to stick to earth tones mostly tans, browns, and beiges.

http://www.behr.com/behrx/colorsmart/main.jsp

I plan on painting 1 of the walls Autumn Fest

The other 3 walls will be the Parmesan color.

So I want to stick to earth tones in the art. So is it okay to mix the kind of art as long as I stay within the colors?

Our cabinets are nice but are dirty. We moved into our house and they were like this, we tried a million and one ways to clean them but the wood only warps. The cost of refacing is too much and are wondering if we could paint them...we want them to be the same light wood look, is this possible and how do we do it and what would we use, all answers welcome! Thanks!

If a service was available to you for a 'House Doctor report' i.e. . Someone comes to your house, you are possibly looking to sell, and offer thier professional opinion on how you could make your house better to prospective buyers. . Would you get the service and if so how much would you pay??

I'm moving into a dorm VERY soon and for some reason, I'm not being given any information on whether the beds are Twin or Twin XL. If the bed is just Twin, will it be overly frustrating to have to tuck the excess under the mattress? Will it stay?

I just purchased a 1984 3 level townhouse. The family room has a woodburning fireplace on one wall . The face is all brick. I have no idea whats up the chimney. It does lead all the way to the rooof. I want to remove the brick and somehow seal up the chimney and just put up a regular wall. The end result should be just a room with walls without an opening for the firelace. Also the chimney is not interior at all. Is this possible and if so, How???

Can anyone recommend the type of paint that would be best to use on shelves and walls in a pantry. It needs to be as tough as possible and washable.
