I have a lot of fine furniture. Not a lot of $$. I need a lot of work done on my house to put it up for sale. I am older, single female. Should I spend my money on hiring people to fix my house or barter the furniture? Will it be too $$$$$$ to replace it up there? Same with china, books, artwork etc.
You can see the furniture style at craigslist's san antonio site
.org/bar/290106820.html.

I'm not too worried about price, b/c you can always find a deal....I also believe in buying the right product the first time so I don't sink $$ into replacing it more frequently.
That being said, which brand of garage door opener is best: Liftmaster, Chamberlain, Craftsman, Genie? And which type: belt, screw, chain? Thanks for your help.

It is only 7"X5",has a shower (without cubicle or any thing like that.so the whole floor gets wet after using it) and a wc just beside it. What can I do to improve it.?As it is an appartment I can't change the plumbing positions. Can't get any solution?I knew that. It is a total give up. I planned a lot. But, you know .No hope.Again, the room is dark.I think u can suggest some soothing colors for the tiles and the walls( except any shade of blue)
For those who can still give some realistic, feasible idea of renovating it :
Bravo. u are a real genius.thanks a lot

I have a small L shaped wall 17"deep by 3' wide. I don't want to waste any space, so I have had several ideas, a wall of cabinets seems to "busy", and if I just install a working countertop with cone lights overhead you would be working looking at a wall. I thought about asking the cabinet maker to put good locking wheels and 3 cabinets underneath, and then we could roll it into the center of the kitchen for serving or working and then lock it back against the wall when not in use. As I am typing I am also considering the wear and tear on the wall....... I have never heard of this done. any ideas?

I'm in the process of re-tiling my bathroom and when I took the old tiles off some of the old grout stayed on the walls or in some areas messed up the dry wall surface.

I'm looking for recommendations of how to either remove the old grout from the wall, or how to smooth the surface over the area in order to lay the new tiles. Suggestions?

on the application for Extreme Makeover Home Edition there is a question about being involved in any lawsuits, I've had a couple of suits that I've brought against other that were settled out of court as well as 1 that has been brought against me that I was able to settle out of court. 1 other that went to court and a judgement that against that I have slowly paid off, but the last one happened over 10 years ago. How detailed should someone get in answering the question? It's a very grey area type of question that has no time frame... for example... have you been involved in any lawsuits with in the last 10 years? again that was an example. I guess if you put too much thought into the question it could get complicated. I'm afraid that I'll either give too much info and on the other hand I might not give enough... does that make sense?
