We have a painting company RJH Painting LLC, Painting our whole interior of our house. I am very happy with the quality of work they are doing. They are very clean, very fast, and very maticulous on every detail. My wife and I want to show our appreciation and think a tip is well deserved. How much should we tip them?
We have a 3800 sq foot house, multiple colors, and they have been on the job for two days and already more then 3/4 of the house is complete and they have moved pretty much any furniture needed to be moved some of which is very heavy.
Other then us offering something to drink, I feel a tip is well deserved, so how much would be appropriate?

i own a house that was built in the early 1900s that has beautiful woodwork.... I am redecorating the house and I would like to know if there is an alternative to painting the wood work.... like some type of paper colored like paint that i can put over the woodwork to color it a different color, but can easily be taken off, if i decide to take it down again. do you know of any?

We are about to put in countertops and I wanted granite, but it's too expensive. I've been told Travertine is excellent for kitchen/bath countertops. I've also read that it is horrible for countertops because it is a limestone. I really need clarification about travertine. Thanks.

I have olive green carpet, and polar white walls, although they have been darkened due to living in it for 8 years, I only want to paint one wall, I have a lot of wood funiture, and a lot of junk heh, the wall in question is the wall directly behind my bed, and in front of my door. (As soon as you walk in, my dresser is to the left, and my computer table is to the right, with my bed directly ahead)

Looked everywhere, retail parks (homebase, mfi, harveys etc etc). Googled, checked 10s of links. Nothing. All we're after is a small nice dining table - solid wood or oak veneer? 120cm max (extendable FROM 120 is OK, extendable TO 120 is not). Under £500 ideally. Suspect there arent any, but hoping someone else solved this.... Thanks!
