measures 12 feet by 14 feet, but there is a 2 foot by 4 foot area around the sink that will not be tiles. How many tiles do you need?

You will need approx 160 tiles but need to buy at least 176. Always allow 10% for breakage, cuts, etc...

160 sq ft.12 times 14=168
4times2= 8 168
- 8 =160.Tiles

To Balance the walls out to the center of the room or area, start with a half tile coarce run against the wallboard. Bet ya didn't know I knew that huh?
Tiles can vary in number per box, so buy at least one extra box.

well the math says 160, but in real life u need to allow for the 1/4" gout line......so that would be 11 x 1/4 = 2 3/4 inches to add.......

bottom line is u need to allow 10% to the sq ft. count....
