Vellum paper is 100% cotton. It is used in some printers for graphs and such. It is also used in sewing to transfer patterns. You can write on it and it doesn't bleed through. So if you have a pattern you want to use repeatedly, transfer it to vellum paper.

I have seen a very long hanging chandelier chain covered by ribbons of many colors, topped by bows made of the same ribbons. I need to have some direction as to how you get so many ribbons without overcrowding the bows at the top of the fixture. I thought maybe someone had directions on how this might be done.

I have white cabinets, dark black/brown speckled granite countertop, and black appliances with pergo flooring. Right now the walls are yucky dark green.

could you please throw my way ideas to decorate a cafe/tearoom? I need to stand out a little in a jungle of boring joints, I like unusual but not tacky ideas and I am on a limited budget.
I already have wrought iron tables and chairs so I need to paint the walls, and also ideas for unusual plates, cups, cutlery, menus, aprons... anything you've seen or imagined, any help welcome!!

My house is older and made with knotty pine for interior walls. I want to paint because of hardwood floors(and dark walls makes it feel like a cave), but many older people love the walls(because you can't find the stuff anymore) and want me to let them be.

Overall, how do you think it would affect the value of the home; painted vs. non painted????? (once painted, color could be changed, but tongue and groove pattern would make it impossilbe to return to original wood finish.)
