Parade float?

My class's theme for our float in Jamacian/Running(Cross Country). I need some ideas for it! Thanks!

Not knowing your budget, or size of the float, or how it will move, it's difficult to say precisely.

What help is available to "BUILD" the float?

If I was constructing it, and YOU had the means, I'd create a scene, with Jamacia as the theme, and create a rolling landscape with a "path" I'd have "runners" on board, in costume, and allow interaction with 360 degrees for the audience,,,perhaps even tossing logo trinkets.

If the base is a flatbed hauled by a semi cab, you might get away with 2 x 4 lumber framing chicken wire, adding muslin and paint for the scene.

Most important in the theme is the team, and any Scene you create should relate.

If you feel supported then gift the audience,,,as I said, with inexpensive, team related, logo trinkets,,,much like Mardi Gras beads tossed from floats.
