Hi! Well, the best way to decorate a room is planing first, organizing your interests and try a look mind.
Planing.- If you want a cool room, just draw your actual room in a piece of paper. Then add some cool things you like and see what happens.
Organizing.- If you already sketched your room drawing it, you need to see what do you need. Buy the things you need.
Look mind.- Well, Here is the last part. Look around your room. If things need to be placed in another way , use you imagination.
Creativity always work, use what you have and then you'll see your best work.
I hope your room will get awesome and cool.

Decide how you want to use the room, decide what color would make you most comfortable in that room, then decide how much money you can spend on decorating. Consider what style you like best then go shopping for an inspiration piece. Say you want a warm exotic room to sleep in and that you just love rich gold and burgundy together. Start with a pillow, large,in a lush fabric like velvet or brocade with lots of fancy trim like beads or thick fringe. Get one that contains all the colors you like plus a couple of accent colors. Build a room around that piece you love and it will fall into place.

Somewhat simple answer but if you are short on ideas look at some design magazines at a local bookstore or design websites for ideas.
Even watching TV shows and sitcoms (at least the sets and backgrounds) can give you some inspiration.

Choose one wall as a feature wall, painting it with a pastel or darker shade of your main room colour.

Use bamboo blinds for something different.

Throw a variety of different coloured and sized cushions around.
