It's a very small room (10' x 5' 6") the stand up shower and toilet are on the far wall (34" shower, 32" toilet), a pedestal sink is to the left of the door upon entrance. Wainscotting surrounds the room a little higher than your standard chair rail. The adjacent room (my kitchen) has wainscotting chair rail high painted Sherman Williams (SW) Library Pewter, the upper wall (SW) Heron Plume. Should I keep the same colors? I'm afrain of the dark color because of the size of the room. I thought about white for the wainscotting and (SW) rainwashed for the upperwall. Check out their website and tell me what you think: http://www.sherwin-williams.com/do_it_yourself/ Also, what about decor? I have an awesome seashell collection I could use, but I'm open for other idea's. Please dig deep into your artistic minds and help me make it a really nice room.

I'm renovating (in Australia) and have been using Dulux in the past. However the local paint shop has talked about Solver Paint and reckons it's pretty good and it's a lot cheaper. This is for interior walls and ceilings and in flat or satin. I'm worried about paint density as some brands make water look thick !!

Existing slab floor, had carpet and hardwood on it, paint stains and some pocks. Can't find a book or website. Don't want to score it. Just stain it.

The paint looks like glossy black, but the texture is of rhino skin. I think it has something to do with cheese cloth but i have no idea of the process to do it.

It is a very warm, deep, clay like color called earth tone. The wall is right behind our kitchen table. Our ceiling in called linen white. It is a warm white. I am having a hard time figuring out what to put there partly because of the large space and partly because of the color. Thanks. : )

I have a dark laminate flooring (brazilian walnut), stone colored sofa with sienna and black accent pillows and sage draperies. The floor lamps, drapery rods, and coffe table are also black. Any suggestions for the color of the walls? Right now the living room is yellow and does not quite work with the rest of the colors.

Hey guys,
I have always been a fan of houses. I am always curious about the design and decor of other people's houses. However, I don't have time to check open houses everytimethere is one. So I create a blog, where you can send pictures of your house, garden, a room in your house, that you want to showcase. Other visitor will get to comment on it, and rate it. What do you think about the idea?

It is off white in color, in very good condition, has no holes anywhere, but has scratches that show the darker layer underneath.
