All of the ideas sound good. Big Lots is good, WalMart is good.
FleaMarkets often have framed and unframed prints. In most towns/cities there is always some little place with good deals....
Just have Fun.

I recommend making your own. Get some cheap frames from a thrift store. Paint them in colors that match your decor. After that the sky is the limit. You can use family photos or take some pics if you are creative. If not, pick up some greeting cards or posters (for large frames). You can also take ordinary items like dried leaves or flowers and use posterboard as a background. Think about things you like and represent your personality & ask friends and family for help too! The most important element is to have fun and enjoy the process.

But a 2006 calendar in a month or two for only a couple bucks, and fram the photos for each month. You can get cheap frames at the dollar store. Hang in groupings to make them seem more important.
You can alos find inexpensive posters at Hobby Lobby.... a poster frame is only about $5, and you can find some nice posters that are reproductions of old French advertising posters.

U could go to several places. Family Dollar, Dollar General even Dollar Tree. If none of these exist where u r, try Wal-Mart they do have reasonable prices. Get unframed pictures and get frames for a Craft store for cheap. U could even spray paint the frames the color u want to match the room. Happy hunting.

K-Mart is now stocking some very nice & inexpensive pictures & frames, as well as other home decorating items & appliances. They have merged with Sears! If you aren't in America, then I don't know what to advise you. Good Luck!

Use fabric strecthed and stapled over a canvas, or use fabric inside a frame...pick something with a print that not only has your colors but fits into your style. This creates an abstact but really pleasing to the eye. You can do this same trick with wall paper.

Consider outsider art. This is a description for paintings done by talented amateur artists. I have found some really neat oil paintings at yard sales and thrift shops. If you can find some old frames at the same sources, you can paint or gold leaf them to frame your thrift shop treasures and make them look like priceless art. If you like modern abstract art, just buy some pre-stretched artist canvas,a starter oil paint kit and go at it. If it becomes something you are pleased to look at,then you have created art.

In small area parts an quite table is merely too a lot for an place of work presentation. it will be more beneficial positive to purchase an place of work hutch that feels like a powerful piece of furnishings yet even as opened is an place of work area. it really is tremendous for small areas. in view that your residing area grants a more beneficial area it stands out as the most proper area until eventually you depart it open each and every of the time so it would seem too cluttered. those "fold out" places of paintings are strong spacesavers and enticing products even as closed. that's quite your maximum proper decision.

Join http://freecycle.org/
This is an international group that recycles goods by giving them away. I've belonged to the one in my area for over a year, and have gotten rid of many items I no longer use (rather than throwing them out), and I've also been gifted a number of items that I needed.
