Rate My House, hot or not?

Hey guys,
I have always been a fan of houses. I am always curious about the design and decor of other people's houses. However, I don't have time to check open houses everytimethere is one. So I create a blog, where you can send pictures of your house, garden, a room in your house, that you want to showcase. Other visitor will get to comment on it, and rate it. What do you think about the idea?

I am still a student, but my vision of my next oem is way better than the one I showed you.

And yeah, anyone is interested in sub mitting is home photos??

Your living room is OK. You might want to straiten the pictures on the walls and loose the big blue penis shaped vase.

I think your idea is good for people trying to get a house sold and need to know how their furniture arrangement will be rated by prospective buyers before they have their open house. It is cheaper than hiring a professional decorator and it captures the tastes of the masses :)

Regarding your living room, I think it's too busy. My advice, even if you didn't ask for it :) is to loose the lace all over the Southwestern motif armchair, group the pictures on the left wall so they don't seem randomly set, loose the symmetry on the right wall by bring the two pictures on the same side of the cabinet, one on top of the other, and by grouping the two smaller vases on top of the cabinet on one side of the tall one (the tall vase should not be in the middle). You have interesting collections on both side tables, try to bring them into focus by removing the doilies underneath them. I wish you would have caught more of your room, but judging just this corner, I will give you a 5.

I guess your idea is a good one for those who are interested in checking out other people's design ideas or maybe for a really boring voyeur. The pic posted, however, was not that impressive. I would only log on if there was some really great pics of houses with interesting designs and cool ideas that I have never seen before.

This place is pretty good for a student on a student budget!! Hats off to you. I do have one bit of advice though. The big long vase you have on the top of the curio cabinet is way to tall for the other things it is showcased with...and it looks WAY too much like a bong...which is TOO college student.

I give you a SIX. a six for the bong like vase, and (I know it's probably a rental) the stark white walls. But it's put together very nicely, and it's clean!!

The pic is too dark. I couldn't see it very well...What I could see,
it looked a little too cluttered..But as I said, it's hard to see.

But I'm sure you will still work on it..

sorry, but i dont like your house at all....

im used to open plan living, huge lving spaces, breakfast bars, decks, views, huge folding doors leading out to open spaces and bringing the outdoors into your living space...

negative 1 from me!
