I have a room that is very long in length and short in width.

One wall on the lengthwise axis is slanted in, with a window set in the centre. There is a small skylight in the ceiling and deep blue carpet which I cannot change.

What colours will open up my room and make it funky? I was thinking also of having a feature wall on the slanted wall. What do you think? What does everyone think of painted on effects, like a tricolour wall or a stencil in the centre? Thanks!

I need help ;-( My 8 year old has been taking Tai Kwan Do for 3 years now and is begging us to re-decorate his room. I have done thousands of searches, for ideas, wallpaper, borders and find nothing. He started doing competitions a few months back and has won 1st and 2nd place trophys, so we would like to incorporate in the room. Any help/ideas out there? PLZZZ

Thanks!

We are putting in about 1800 sq. feet of hard-woods and are simply frustrated by the endless amount of product out there.... just need an expert on what is the best product, company, ease of install, cost-effective, durability etc., Just need to narrow it down.
