Personally, I think Thomasville is an exceptionally well built, quality designed and high end furniture brand that is worth every penney you pay for it. Just so you know, they do not work with the trade and I own pieces myself, in my own home. What is so exceptional is that you are making a lifetime purchase. The construction is what you are investing in, not necessarily the upholstery. That is the beauty of owning a piece of Thomasville, if anything ever goes wrong, you can refinish it or re-upholster it because the furniture is built so well. Why do you think it still appraises so well and commands such high prices at auction or consignment sales for pieces constructed in the 60's or 70's that are essentially not antiques? I paid over $1,000 for a club chair some 10 years ago, dictated the manner in which I wanted the cushions to be made, the joinery, the stuffing, the arms, the fabric, just about the entire chair and had offers exceeding $8,000 for it. It is high quality furniture that is an investment. Buy it on sale, though, do not pay full price and wait until they introduce a new line or are discontinuing a style for the best value.

That is your first clue. They are med-high end furniture. No put it together stuff, or finish it yourself. But for the quality they aren't bad. If you have children jumping and spilling on your furniture I wouldn't invest in it. The last time I looked at their stuff though was 8-10 years ago, and it ran between $400-$800 for an upholstered chair back then depending on the style and manufacturer.

Thomasville is probably 3 or 4 out of 5 stars as far as price goes.
If you see a particular piece you want to know more about, any of their stores will be glad to give you a quote over the phone.
My big beef with them, however, is the length of time it takes them to manage to deliver a given piece. Ye gods, it can take them 4 months to show up with upholstered pieces.

Undoubtedly yes, she had no reason to yell at you when you've nicely asked her for a refill and I don't blame you for letting your server know that you need a refill when your glass was empty, if she's not paying any attention to you then she's not doing her job properly, I also don't like it when my servers drop the bill along with my food, like you it makes me feel like I'm being rushed.
