Orange is a very energizing color. Typically, you should use very calming, relaxing colors in the bedroom so that it will be easier to get to sleep. However, orange may affect you differently, especially if you have found a very pleasant shade. Or, you might find that you benefit from orange's energizing effect in the morning. If you don't mind repainting, feel free to go ahead and experiment.

No, you need a restful color like pale blue or green. Orange is a great color but not for a bedroom.

I like the idea of a deep orange for one wall, such as the wall that the headboard is up against. The remaining walls can be a lighter color that compliments it - maybe a spring green. It will chill the orange out a bit, be a very modern touch and allow you to explore a little with decorations and colors.

PS: A flower theme (such as sunflowers) would go great with that color scheme!

A peach or melon color of orange might work. or a soft salmon color. But a bright orange room would give you claustrophobia.

A softer orange like melon or peach color would be a wonderful idea. You could blend it well and decorate it with tans and maybe even grays.

But a bright orange room would smother you.

Yes, but you have to add very colorful accessories. I painted my home office in an orange called pumpkin and I love it. I only painted the main wall, the wall that you see when you enter the room. I did add some colorful accessories, like lime and even threw in some white vases. The remaining walls I painted in bright white. It looks awesome. Good luck and have fun with it!

I like orange, but I think you may get sick of it after awhile. Unless you plan to redecorate again soon, I think a more neutral color would be better.

However, if you're really feeling the orange vibe...go with it and have fun!!!

if it's soft, and only half the room is that color. Paint the other walls maybe like a light blue and maybe try a beach theme! That would be awesome!
