usually they sell a cherry veneer and put cherry around the sides so it looks sort of like solid cherry.
Reg plywood 3/4 inch, maybe $20 so probably another $25 for the veneer and then the extra edges, $70 total

Cherry plywood, huh? It's one of those things where if you have to ask how much, then it is quite obvious that you can't afford it. The cost of building materials has tripled in the last 8 years. And back then a sheet of plywood like that was about $40 a sheet. I guess you would be lucky if you can get it for anything under $100 now.
