This pillow form is shaped like a circle cut in half. It is about 15 inches long. I have no idea how to cover it with material and how to do the ends and make it look good. I tried to cut the ends separately and attached them, but it looks bad.

We bought a house this year. It's a high ranch, but it doesn't have a dining room. I do have a sorta large kitchen which holds a kitchen table for 4 (opens up to 6) that is against the wall. Downstairs is a large, fully furnished family room with comfy couches and a large TV. Upstairs is a "living room". Right now it's totally empty. I'm tempted to decorate is as a dining room but am afraid that it will seem odd. It's close enough to the kitchen to be a dining room, but is definately intended to be a living room. Am tortured about making this decision!!!!!!!!!! Your thoughts?

I just bought a home and I can't stand the color of the existing granite countertops -- they're black and pepto-PINK!! They're in great shape and it's just silly to spend the kind of money needed to replace them. Is it possible to remove the sealant and stain the stone to a more neutral palette? Even if they went almost entirely black it would be an improvement over what I've got.

I have this mirror that I painted white, and I left it outside to dry (this was a while ago!), and dirt and nasty stuff got under the tape, and now it wont come off! I left it alone, not really caring what it looked like back then, but now I'm painting my room, and I want a crisp, clean look for it. Can I use Goof-Off on a mirror surface? Will it ruin it? Should I use something else? Windex, or glass cleaner wont take it off, IT IS STUCK ON!!! And I need your opinion, should I just leave it white or should I do something to it (I was thinking about tiling part of the mirror where the nasty stuff is). Please help!

I'm thinking of making it purple, maybe a lavender or dark/deep purple. Something calming. Blue's my favorite color but if i paint my bedroom that color I'll probably get tired of it lol. Any suggestions? Know of any sites where I can preview colors?
Thanks!

Has anyone ordered from this website? What were your experiences with the quality & service of the items. I'm looking to purchase the "Rana" chaise lounge and if anyone has this item, please let me know if it's comfortable, worth the money. I also want to know if the swatches of color they show on the site are true to the real thing. Any and all info would be appreciated.

I am moving into an apartment with only one bedroom, so my office and bed are going in the same room. It's a good sized room, but I would like a way to separate them (office area, bedroom area). The only thing I can think of is a curtain from the ceiling or a screen to divide the room. Any suggesions would be greatly apprciated.
