My dining room wall is a load bearing wall. Its about 6 feet wide I want to knock the wall down to make the area bigger.

I want to hire a company to do this for me, so its professional.

I want them to take down the 6 foot wall and put in a large support beam to help with the weight.

The second floor is above the wall and nothing heavy is above it, but I don’t want to ruin my house.

How much would something like this cost? I was thinking maybe $1500?

Any ideas on what color would look best on the walls? I want to avoid blue or green. And I want to keep it light to brighten up the room. Thanks.

I came up with an idea to raffle my house, but have heard that i might need a game license or run it has a comp. Whoever wins gets a £250,000 four bedroom house for £25 (price of tickets), which i thought was a great idea, but noone seems to be able to help me & that's including solicitors!

I wanted to replace the ceramic tile in my bathrooms, dining room and kitchen with travertine marble.

Someone told me that travertine would be a bad choice since it can stain easily.

I don’t want a ceramic tile that looks cheap. I want something that looks really nice.

Can I find a ceramic tile that looks good, maybe even resembles natural stone?

What is the best flooring for my house? What do you suggest?

I have a web site called Catering To Your Needs. The url address is written as cateringtoyourneeds.com. I've had it about a year now. I built it myself and searched out real quality products with what I think are Very Competitive prices. My products are guaranteed and some even come with a 25 year to lifetime guaranty. I've paid marketing fees, signed up with all the major search enjines and tried to make my site as professional as it can be. I ship my merchandise quickly and also respond quickly to any questions. I've seen many fakes out there, but I am the REAL DEAL. My problem is I'm not getting orders. My site isn't even paying for itself. I see that up to 1500 people a month are looking at my site but only about 1% or less are buying anything. I feel I've invested too much in it to quit, but I can't keep paying all my fees and not make any money. Can you PLEASE look at it for me and offer some suggestions on what I'm doing wrong or how to mke it more applealing?

I want to add some decor to my otherwise plain home. but i need to do it cheaply. any website where i can find good ideas? i have an 'arts and crafts' style home and would maybe like to reflect that in the interior. otherwise, i am in my early 30's, so don't send me to sites that my grandma or mom would like! lol.

the underlying point is that when windows were made of wood they incorporated hooks to support the curtain rail-now the upvc windows leave no option but to screw in a curtain support and rail separately above the window
incidentally i can see how the net curtain stretche
after two nightmare days of being turfed out of bed by poles replacing the windows i was then left with no curtains
i need the latest in curtain technology bearing in mind that the section above the windows seems to be composed of plasterboard and flakes when i try to insert a nail;who is responsible for this fiasco or have i finally become feeble minded?how much for the equipment or any other suggestions short of defenestration
i can see how the net curtain stretched between the two hooks but i am damned if i can see how the two plastic bits with the screws through them secured the curtain
my revered ancestors on both sides were builders and i have to admit that this question is beginning to seem like a wack job

I want to hire someone to put down pergo tiles after I pull off the carpet. I know that it can differ, but about how much might this cost. I don't want to get charged too much so I would just like an estimate (the area is 377 sq ft). Thanks
