There is a hand cleaner product called Goop that claims to quickly and safely remove grease, paint, ink, tar, industrial soils, and a whole lot more, from hands and clothing. You should be able to find it at your local auto parts store. If not, call 1-800-537-1418 for a store near you, or go on line at www.goophandcleaner.com It has often worked for me.

If the paint is already dried - forget about it - save that clothing item for the next time you have something to paint in order to preserve the rest of your wardrobe. If it's still wet, just run it under water until it washes out then launder as usual.

The best laundry product is WD-40 which is a spray type of light oil. Must spray until stain is wet and then put item into washer immediately (MUST also be the first time you wash or stain is set and will NEVER come out). May come out of wash with a stink of oil - but just rewash after ensuring stain came out. WD-40 will take anything out (ANYTHING) - bubble gum, gutter glue, paint, grease, grass, cow she-it, and on and on and on/

the primary ingredient in nail polish remover is acetone.
so, to save yourself from the bad smell of lemony-fresh nail polish remover, I'd head down to home depot or wherever and get a can of acetone.

go to the store and look for products that are for that purpose, goop, goof off, etc, but it wont always work on every kind of paint.
