I am having carpet professionally installed throughout my home. My walls are tan/oatmeal and dark brown in the rooms to be carpeted. My furniture in my LR is blue and brown, in the bedrooms it is brown. Any thoughts?

I painted our spare bedroom (3 weeks ago) and the paint (Benjamin Moore semi-gloss) refuses to dry completely. The entire bedroom was primed (tinted) in the morning and then painted in the afternoon. If you take a cloth with a drop of water on it and just touch the wall the color wipes right on to the cloth and then leaves a mark on the wall (found this out when I tried to wipe a small mark off the wall). I painted 4 other rooms the same way and none of them have this problem. Any suggestions of how to fix this problem. I know the room is going to need another coat but I'm afraid to put it on since this coat refuses to dry. I need to know what to do because I have to move the furniture back into it by the middle of August.

We are in the process of building a new home and I need help with the window coverings. There are 4 windows in the front (2 bedroom, 1 loft and 1 dining room) of the house. If I put blinds up to the 2 bedroom windows do I have to put them up to the loft and dining room? I also do not know what to do with the windows in the great room. I love to decorate but always have a horrible time with the window coverings. Does anyone know of a good website for ideas? Help!!!!!!!

My brother chose "grey" as the wall colour for my brand new home. The walls of house have now been painted, and they look very white. There isn't much contrast between the walls, and the ceiling/moulding. What can I do in terms of decor to offset the whiteness. Repainting the entire house is out of the question.

I am ordering wall paper decals, but instead of using the prepasted side and putting them on a white dresser i just sanded and repainted, I was wondering if there was anywhere I could order/buy the material for latex decal stickers? So I could put the wall paper decal on the sticker, and stick it to the dresser instead of having a mess when I am ready to take them off?

bathroom. I want to take it out and put in a wall mounted (probubly between the studs type or surface mount?) electric heat wall unit. What is the conversion rate from 3 Amps to wattage? Most of these small bath designed units are rate about 1500 watts. Can I replace the baseboard unit with ...what size wattage unit without compromising my breaker rating (15/30 Amp)?; There are two other 6 amp baseboard heaters on that circuit AND the breaker configuration is a "split unit" set up for 220 for more effecient draw/use. Two 15 amp breakers with their switches "tied/bolted" together so they break simultaineously in overload. Hope I'm making myself clear here. Whatever thoughts would be appreciated.

I want to turn my guest room into a dressing room but have a fold-down bed. I'm thinking of having everything hidden behind a wall of light green frosted glass. What do you think? (Honestly)

I am looking for a big New York Yankees logo stencil to paint on a wall and a big New Jersey Devils logo to paint on a wall. It must be bigger than a couple of inches. Thanks!

I found a fake group of flowers in a shop and it had sponge like leaves. The quality seemed better and look more real than the typical silk flower. thanks.

I've done some research but cant find an estimate, I dont want to call a pool company quite yet as I wont be ready for a few months. I was thinking one of the fiberglass drop in's, not the concrete kind. Just a small to medium size with a concrete decking around it. Anyone know of a good website that explains the average costs?

Just bought a home. Will definitely be refinishing the kitchen cabinets, but don't know if they are made of real wood or are partical board with laminate glued on. They look real...? The house was built in 1996.

I'm putting in hard wood floor. And I have no idea what I want to do with the wall, except I hate wallpaper! And I can't think of what color to do it and what color would be good to accent the trim. Suggest a theme too if ya want.
