Cutting it out is easiest, sure. But if you want the pattern to last get some quilters pattern paper and trace the pattern onto it then cut that out. If you need another size later for you or someone else, or if you lose a piece, you have an intact pattern and can retrace and cut again.

cut it out. It will be easier to use. If it's something you'll use many times, pin and cut it out of something a little less tear resistant. If the pattern is small, us paper bags from the store. Just be sure to mark everything you need ie: bias line, how many to cut of that piece, etc.

Cutting it kout would be the easiest. If you want to use the other sizes as well, make be sure to cut out the largest first, make a templater of that on a durable material, then move onto the next size.
