Does anyone know where I can buy snowflake decorations? I have looked on the internet and can not find anything that I like. I am looking for something that I can hang from the ceiling in the reception hall. Our colors are burgundy and silver. If you either know of a place that we can buy these or you make or sell such decorations please let me know.

Has anyone seen those shelves that are basically woven like baskets? They have three sides to them (the top and two legs) so you can set something on them and set something underneath. I'm thinking of using one for my DVD player and VCR but dont remember where I saw it. If you know where I can find one and/or what they're called, please let me know. Thanks!

I would like to paint my bathroom but don't want to have paint fumes for days afterward. Does the low VOC paint really work well or does it still have the new paint smell?

i am thinking of decorating my bedroom. if you go to jcpennys and look at the mtv cribs, i was thinking of putting the topaz collection comforter ontop of chris maddens 400 thread ct sheets in sangria, using two gold sequin accent pillows(also in the topaz collection) maybe painting the wall behind my bed to match the sangria sheets, i ordered a hanging black candle sconce for behind my bed prehaps, and i was thinking a bed canopy of some sorts might be sexy? do you think all this would be over the top? i am going for a sexy, diva lair kinda feel. i am a 25yr old single mother of two. i just want something i can feel very sexy in but doesnt' ward off the men either...i am not decorating for a man, but one was around, i want him to be comfortable and not feel he is in a little girls room. what do you think?

I don't have a lawn mower now because I live in an apartment, and the landlord or such mows the lawn for us.

Also, do you think that the landlord would notice if I trimmed the carpet? What was he thinking when he had such a thick carpet installed?!

After finishing working on Carpet, I'm thinking of doing Wooden flooring for the couple of rooms downstairs. Now, there's a step between room (around as high as the stair's step is).

Rather than choosing from normal wood, I'm hoping to do Glossy wooden floor, perhaps it's called "laminated flooring" (do correct me if I'm wrong).

I wonder if I should really go with this glossy laminated wooden flooring, since I've ONLY seen this at just one of my friend's place, but other than that, I always see the wooden floor where people are using just a normal wood.

I personally liked this glossy laminated wooden flooring more than any other I've ever seen. Its surface is not slippery as well, which I thought it would be. However, I'm not too sure about the scratches OR whether it LOOKS good but may not be durable, etc. or its quality, especially, when compared to normal wooden floor.

I'm looking for a high efficiency furnace, with the less reported troubles.

Basically meaning that I want something dependable, with less break downs, and save substantially on my heating bills. I hope to pay less that 2500.00 bucks installed.

I already have A/C installed for an old furnace, about 35 or so years old. So they have to work from the plenum down. I also need a new electronic air cleaner, (repaired the one I have twice and it cost more to repair than a new purchase now). So, if I can include that in the cost, or maybe 400 bucks more, it wont be bad.

Any suggestions? I know Furnaces like Trane, Carrier, and others are "all good", but, I want the best for my money, and with less break downs, or service calls..

I thank each of you for your imput and will be waiting for answers...

I wish you well..

Jesse

Very nice, I know. Websites are worringly quiet on the subject. I am looking to cover a 1 * 4 metre space. Are there cheaper options, which look at bit the same?

In my previous apartment I had pergo floors, and the center was fine. Now it doesn't seem secure, as if it could fall over at any time. The center itself is fine, so it must be the thick carpet. What can I use? Is there some type of mat, similar to an exercise mat for fitness equipment? Or would a piece of linoleum or tile do it?

Most places want you to buy the entire toilet? Are there any stores? Also, the lid is older so much wider and longer than the newer toilets.

We have remodeled our bed room. Wainscoting around the room with a small chair rail and textured/ paintable wall paper on top. The wainscoting and chair rail are painted "shade tree green" a sagey green color/ the top is painted "muted gold". I love it, but the wood veneer doors look funny to me. I want to paint them and DH wants to leave them. Which do you think would look best and which color if painted? Thanks!

Ok, I am in the midst of buying a new home and it needs some repairs. I can't really afford the big guys so I need some help with the contruction. Its light work like painting, redoing the wood floors, putting up a fence and possibly a deck. You know stuff like that. Now heres the question, do you think it is wise for me to ask family for help? Dont get me wrong I dont mind paying but when I asked one of my relatives for some help today, the first thing out of his mouth was "HOW MUCH YOU PAYING"?
