go to the court house it will be in the record department under PVA (property valuation administration. there you can go back to deeds and it will tell you when house was built and who all has owned it.

Go to the county courthouse, in the auditor's office and they will have records you can search back and see who owned the property then. They should instruct you on how to find it and which books to find the info in. Unless they've been able to computerize everything. Then, they can just look it up for you.

You need to do some research in the public records in your area (Clerk of Court or Probate Office). A lot of these records are now available online.

Your local libray might help. Just go to the thing where you can look at news papers from back then it might have it. If that does not work then try asking around.

YOU SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN AN ABSTRACT WITH ALL THE HISTORY OF YOUR HOME WHEN YOU BOUGHT IT. UNLESS YOU'RE A RENTER. YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO GO TO THE COURT HOUSE AND ASK FOR INFO.
