Paint the room a bright green, & if you really want it to be funky add pink flowers on there with a stencil, or just different colored stickers. Get pink bed covers, and white & pink curtains. Squishy bean pillows are cute too, you could buy a couple of those in black & red. I would give you more ideas but I think ppl already covered everything!!! good luck &hearts &hearts &hearts

Why not start with a pretty light green paint on your walls. Then white blinds on the windows for privacy and to let in light in the daytime also, you could put up a dark pink drape on each side of the window. Maybe go with a light pink and white check pattern o
r stripe on the comforter with dark pink sheets and pillow cases. Then put a couple of throw pillows on your bed, one red and one dark pink. Add some pictures to your room with red, red& white frames and some other accessories in red. You could make a bullitin board for some pictures of your friends and class mates by taking a piece of plywood and covering it with a pink or red or a pink and red print material. First use a spray glue on the board and put some batting on it, then set the board upside down on your material and take the material around on the back and staple it down on the sides and corners, pulling it fairly tight, but not too tight as to bunch up the batting. Then turn it over and look at it to make sure it is on right. Take some light green ribbon that coordinates with your paint color and lay this from one corner diagonqally to the next and turn your board over and staple it down. Do the same thing to the other two corners. Then put a pretty tack or large headed push pin or button in the center where the two ribbons meet and to help hold your ribbons in place. Now you should have a board on which you can slide your photos under the ribbons and display them in your room. You will want to put a picture hanger on the back side of your board to hang on the wall. Also remember to put in shelves, in maybe a white color to hold your books, magazines, cd's and so on. This keeps the clutter picked up and gives storage also. You can also put down a shaggy red throw rug. If you are going to be buying new carpet, i would keep it a neutral shade,so that if you want to change your colors later it won't be so expensibe. May be a light green or light beige. Good luck,

white closet doors, bed and dresser/cabinet things, pink lamps etc, black ceiling fan, medium green on the wall with the most or most prominant window(s), and a light green on 2 other walls. not like a light green, but like an off white going to green, a really quiet green. and DONT use glossy or semi-gloss paint. sory about red i kinda left it out, but with too many colors a room gets busy. i know this is a quick overall but it should help.

You also need to consider interests and likes/dislikes. I have 3 girls and we have done several themes from animals from africa to an Arabian nights type theme. One had her room done in frogs, we have had the younger themes of mickey and minnie, rainbow brite, etc. and then just done nicely put together with no themes. Favorite colors and then find a nice border to tie it all in. Mainly make sure its you. If you are a reader than you may not want a busy, busy room as it may be too jazzed for you to read in peace, etc. So list your main interests as well as colors and go from there.

Those colors are great together! There really isn't much you *can't* do with them.

You might try light green walls and darker green curtains. Use lots of different colored pillows, if that's the kind of thing you like.
