There are many shades of "taupe" it can have green or brown or even yellow undertones to it. I guess when I think of taupe I usually think of the color of straw or sand.

Men have no idea what taupe is. We only see in the basic colors. I have no idea what mauve is either.

Taupe is beige with grey in it instead of yellow.

Its an off white. More inbetween the browns and whites. if in the rainbow its between orange and green.

a pinky brown you prolly wont find it in a rainbow but any paintins supply store carries samples you can look at

it is a brown/grey or grey/brownish color not on the rainbow
