My friend who was a smoker has moved and left me behind with his computer. Since he was a smoker, the keyboard and mouse reek of cigarette. If I try using the mouse, some of the odor transfers to my hand!

Any ideas to completely remove the odor?

So awhile ago, I spilled red juice on the rug. My friend got me Resolve and said it will work. I took confidence in it and used it but it left white stains all over the rug. How can I remove it? My parents are returning soon and I don't want them to see how bad it is.

There used to be a odour eater type spray you used on clothes that were clean but got smelly after being around cigarette smoke and other evil odours...it might have been called something like Frebreze, but I am not sure?

Does anyone know the correct name? Is it still available? Where can you buy it and for roughly how much? (obviously please don't tell me your local shop around your way! I am in London).

Thanks.

I have this gorgeous white fedora I got on EBay and over time, I've made the mistake of not caring for it properly. Now it has stains from sweat, other hats, etc. If there is anybody that can help me with ideas on how to clean this hat, send them on. Reme, ber, the hat is made of cotton and has a stingy brim so I'd like to clean it while keeping everything else intact.

I live in a two story house with a basement. I have a laundry shoot on the second floor which travels downward into my basement where my washer and dryer are. After filling it full of cloths, I've discover its clogging up somewhere between the basement and 2nd floor. I've tried several homemade devices to try to unlodge my cloths, but they seem to be really stuck. Anyone have any suggestions.

I thought that's practically what bleach was made for... to clean white cotton. I really think these sheets need a thorough cleaning and I wanted to soak them in bleach. But the tag says not to use bleach on them. Why? I've never seen this on sheets before...

I got this neat tea maker which I just love. It is pretty much the same as a coffee pot so I will assume you can clean it in the same way. I was the pitcher itself normally but the little cup thing that holds the tea (or coffee grounds) is filthy and stained and just refuses to come clean. Any help?
