White tank with a black tank...can i dry it together?

Drying your colors together has much less effect than washing them togetner. So.. You can go ahead and dry these loads together without any problem. About the only thing that would happen would be that your whites might pick up a small amount of the darker lint but it would not be permanent.

I found my whites grayed a bit after my husband combined darks and whites in the dryer. I prefer to dry them separately.

the dark color may bleed into the white while both are still wet.

That's fine...the colors won't run like washing them would.
