get little tubs and small 3 drawer stacking organizers. Separate your school supplies; scissors, tape, glue, pencils,pens, colored markers, etc.
Larger items; sort out what you don't need this year and toss it, get some medium sized stacking drawers for your folders, papers, and a small two shelf bookcase for your books. Make sure you have a current thesaurus, dictionary, and reference books for grammer, etc.
Colored file folders for each of your subjects will help also.

First, throw out everything that you do not need. That includes everything from kitchen utensils to clothes. It relieves a lot of stress. Get plastic bins and store items you use infrequently. LABEL EVERYTHING!!!
