So awhile ago, I spilled red juice on the rug. My friend got me Resolve and said it will work. I took confidence in it and used it but it left white stains all over the rug. How can I remove it? My parents are returning soon and I don't want them to see how bad it is.

I would try wetting it (with water) and blotting the the area over and over again, until the soap residue is removed.

That happened to me when I was moving from an apartment. The manager said I would have to pay money for the carpet repair, but when the carpet was shampooed the light spot was gone ( and the carpet was clean)

Good luck.

Try misting with plain water and wiping it up, it probably is residue from the suds.
