I need help picking out a new vacuum cleaner. I don't want to spend more than $150 and I want something bagless. Other than that, I'm lost. There's so many choices! Any ratings or opinions would help alot. Thanks!

We got a Bissel and have been very happy with it! Regular maintenance is vital to ANY vacuum's life expectancy, so get something that has easily detachable parts.

I have a Dirt Devil that I bought at Target. It does the job really well with no problems. I got mine for $150.

I have a friend that has an Oreck, and she loves it. Also, I have heard good things about the Bissell bagless vacuums.

Get a Hevy-Duty cleaner. http://www.abcvacuumwarehouse.com/vacdetails.asp?DBID=510&ID=Sanitaire+SC887+Bagless+Upright+Vacuum+Cleaner
Is about $20 than what you looking for, But this should last at least 10 years.

if you want a good vacuum then buy a Dyson you only get what you pay for and the Dyson costs but it´s a vacuum for life. No point in buying a vacuum that´s only going to last for a year .
