My husband recently got a job working at a smoked salmon factory. Whenever I was his work clothes, which is usually 3 times back to back, the smell of the smokey fish remains in the fabric.

My question is what can I do to get rid of the salmon smell from his clothes?

I have tried everything I can think of: vinegar, bleach, scrubbing bubbles, ajax, comet, those magic erasers, oven cleaner, even a pumice stone! Nothing has worked for me.

I need to find some motivation for cleaning my apartment. You know, just the general maitenance kind of stuff. My apartment for the most part is pretty clean and I am not lazy. I just have a personality where if I start something it's hard to finish. I just need some extra ideas for a little boost in the motivation. any you have would be appreciateed. thank you.

I am 17 years old, and I am very, very, VERY messy. I've got clothes all over the floor (dirty AND clean), facial wipes all over my bed and floor, hairballs on the floor, and receipts, granola bar wrappers, TONS of coins, cosmetics, and gum wrappers all over my counter and the pile of skateboards, keyboard pianos, art kits, and shoes are LITERALLY up to my hips. (No joke). I am not happy with myself. Seriously, it looks like JCPenney's and Kwik-ee Mart barfed in my room. I've been like this my whole life, and all my mother does is scream at me about it. How can I MAKE myself become a neater person - and actually be naturally inclined to be neater and not such a slob.

My daughter spilled (ok, more like dumped) baby powder all over her room. The vacuum is just spewing the powder all over the place because it's so fine it just gets stirred up. The hand vac doesn't work either, it's too fine for the filter to catch it. I'm at a loss... maybe someone with experience can help? Thanks in advance!

I am a mom of 3 kids (ages 6, 4, and 3 months) and live in house with my husband, mil, and sil. My husband and I take care of everything in the house. My mil and sil do nothing and don't contribute any money to upkeep at all. They do not help with the housework at all. My husband does on the weekend but only clothes and dishes. The rest falls to me. I am home Mon-Fri and work 12 hour days on the weekends. My 6 year old has to be taken to school and picked up. My 3 month old is very fussy and time consuming. He cries and eats a lot. I don't have much time to get things done. Right now the trash is piling up as well as the clothes and dishes. You can't find the kitchen table or my bedroom floor. I need all the advice I can get. I can't help feeling that I am only one person and can only do so much. Then everyone else makes comments on the mess and I feel like a total failure. So how do I keep the house clean and still be able to do the other things that have to be done?

My young son spilled chocolate milk on it and I have had it for over a year and have not had it washed because I am afraid it will fall apart. Has anyone ever washed one? I have a front loader washing machine and I know it would FIT, I'm just afraid of ruining it.
