I think a Kenmore by Sears is a very good buy. I bought mine in 1984, and it is still going strong. It has only been repaired once, by my husband. If you can find a good, used one, in your local paper classified listings, or a bargain shopper paper, look for Kenmore, or Maytag, or Whirlpool brands. Sometimes you can get one that is only about a year or two old, for a good price. I wouldn't pay more than $75 to $100 for a used machine, if it is fairly new, not more than a couple of years old.

www.saber.com is the best washing machine but not the lowest price
it is a top loading washing machine and it uses less water and less soap and it acts like a front loading machine but is top loading
you must go on the website to read on it.
priced the same as front loading.
highly recommend this washer!!!

well my mrs ruined 4 machines in 8 years plus numerous spare parts for this well known name in the end tony smith felt sorry for me and advised me to get zannuzzi sorry if thats spelt wrong any way this one is still going strong and its on every day lots of luck ps tony is a washing machine engieer

I swear by our Sears Kenmore products. I still have an operating sewing machine from them from 1974

for high-end brands, i would recommend bosch front loaders. they are highly energy efficient and reliable. for mid-range brands, i would recommend kenmore. i have owned a kenmore front loader for a little over a year now, and it performs beautifully for the money. i also got lots of rebates from PG&E and my local water company for purchasing the brand and model that i chose.
