I was doing some kitchen cleaning today with a bleach product and apparently got my argyle sweater in a few small spots. Can I do anything to restore the color to this sweater? Some information:

-It is a 50/50 rayon cotton blend
-There are about 6 little bleached dots ranging in size from a pea to a dime, all within the same "diamond."
-The old color was light mocha, the new color is that familiar bleach orange.

I really love this sweater and I hope I can salvage it. Thanks everyone!

It isn't clogged, so I don't need Draino or anything like that, but it smells bad. I've tried to put baking soda down it and then run hot water, but that hasn't helped. I've also tried to pour "OUT" pet odor remover down there...
I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions?

Every time I use the washing machine, I notice a few hours after, that there is water in the bottom of the drum.
The only way to clear it is by running the cycle again which means I have to use the machine twice for every wash - once to clear the drum, and once to wash.
Because it happens every time, I have to leave the water and so it smells but how can I stop it entering the machine. It is a Hotpoint Electronic 1000 Plus 9534.

I have tried turning the blue and red valves off after the wash but it is still happening. Thanks for any help.

I now have 2 pairs of sneakers with poop on them. What is the best way to get it out of the tread on the bottom? I don't wanna put poopy shoes in the washer!

About once a week I clean my house for the most part. I love the way it looks but it doesn't last long. I am bad at "keeping it up" and my boyfriend is no better. We also have pets so I have a TON of hair in my house too to contend with. I get so overwhelmed that some days I just don't even bother with cleaning. How do you people motivate yourself to keep your houses so sparkly clean. I try and it's never enough. I hate cleaning so much that I might even hire a maid but before I do I'd like some input from people who keep their houses clean. How do you do it? I have to force myself to start cleaning. Once I'm cleaning it's not too bad but I get so sick of it that once the place is clean I can't be bothered for awhile and then it falls back into a disaster area again. Please help!

I'm cleaning my gf's apartment and the 'bag full' indicator on her vacuum cleaner came on. Do you usually just empty it and put it back in or do I need to buy a new bag?

Unfortunately, my new kitten threw up a hair ball on my khaki trench coat. Does anyone have any tips on how to clean it without ruining the fabric?

The coat is from the Gap last year, I'd hate to loose it, it took me forever to find one in my size and style!

I used baking soda for carpets with pets and the baking soda smells awful. I've vacuumed three times since, changing the bag but the baking soda smell is still there. The carpet really didn't smell to begin with, but I thought the baking soda would freshen up the house a bit. Instead, now I have an odor like I'm trying to cover something up. ugh! Please help- we have a party in two days.
