I have tried everything I can think of: vinegar, bleach, scrubbing bubbles, ajax, comet, those magic erasers, oven cleaner, even a pumice stone! Nothing has worked for me.

Try CLR cleaner. YES the one you see on TV. As cheesy as it seems it works on the weirdest stuff.

If you have used a Pumie stone, ajax, oven cleaner on your fiberglass tub then most likely the gray spots are where the finish has actually been ruined due to those items.

Sounds like the finish is ruined to me. Have you tried Tilex brand Soap Scum Remover ?? This is what I use on all fiberglass showers and tubs....it may take 3 tries to get rid of the stain, but if the finish is ruined, nothing will help.
