The easiest way to remove it would be to grab it
by it's shirt collar.
Then drag it outside and slam the door behind it.
It can come inside when it stops spilling coffee and tea.

Hi
I would recommend using a wet vac and slowly pour hot water (almost to the boiling point) on the spot and vacuum it up at the same time (this will open up the dye ports on the carpet fibre releasing the stain. and remove the residue from the carpet). If the stain is still visible than use a little carpet spotter on it or Dawn dishwashing liquid (2 or 3 drops into one cup of water) and repeat step 1. The stain may come back in a few days so you may have to do this a few times. Please DO NOT put anything on the carpet that was not made for carpet. At this point if the stain is still there please call a carpet cleaner.

You should try vanish, I have used this on a carpet stain and it got it out with no problems and it didn't leave another stain. You should be able to find in in most supermarkets or try this link
http://www.britsuperstore.com/acatalog/Vanish.html

Vanish
Vanish is available in both the Fabric Treatment and Carpet Cleaner categories. It provides effective and safe stain removal on all kinds of fabrics.

Ouch i feel for ya!

The best stain remover i have found is Carex Liquid soap! When i get stuff on my clothes it gets the stain out no problem! Even things like curry are no obstical!

Put lots on the stain and some water and then gently press dont rubb as this will engrain the stain further. If it wont budge the rubbing my be the only answer.

Hope this helps.

Since tea is used as a material dye, I seriously doubt if it will take out a coffee stain. It would be more beneficial to head to Walmart and find a product that specifies that it can take out coffee stains. Maybe, depending on the colour of the carpet...you can try that Tide product that you put on a stain and is supposed to make it disappear.

Tell him to drink his coffee in the kitchen. HotSpot cleaner in a can is a pretty good. Otherwise, call Stanley Steamer and have the carpets professionally cleaned.

Cheapest way for longterm use is taking out the carpet and adding wood flooring or laminate wood flooring. This is by far a great investment as well.

First of all give your brother a sippy cup for his coffee or tea! I read that putting shaving cream on a stain and it will remove it.
