I have used numerous brands of Vacuums, all of which seem to just last me a year, and then stop working. Anyone know if spending extra money on an expense vacuum makes the difference? Any recommendations?

I would like to know what the average cost is for altering a shirt that needs to be taken in one size. I need the shirt to be more fitted by tightening the sides and sleeves. I think there will be a lot of cloth removed. Any ideas of how much it will be?

Seriously, the dorm laudry room is a great resource. I did learn when younger that if you put the lint in paper egg cartons and then pour wax over the top of each cup of lint, then breaking it apart, it made a great fire starter. What else is something useful that lint could be used for?

Every now and then when a buy a new shirt and wash it, it comes out with a colored stain on the shirt. Sometimes it's pink, orange, or even red, and I dont even own a pink or orange shirt! I don't know where these colors even come from, and it usually happens on shirts I havent washed before. I always wash in cold water, and use "Clorox 2 for colors" non chlorine bleach and "Woolite for darks". Can anybody please help me?

My nephew had an accident on my couch last night. The couch is cloth fabric almost khaki-like fabric. Any suggestions on how I can get whatever urine stain forms out when I get home tonight and before the guests come over tomorrow for Thanksgiving! Thanks for any help.

I know you can flp a regular mattress to remove any sagging but my pillowtop has a normal mattress bottom possibly stiffer than normal and definitely stiffer than the pillowtop on the opposite side. I have rotated it already in the past but never flipped it. Ideas?
