How do you get rid of gnats?

We have seen plenty of gants in our apartment any suggestions on how to get rid of them?

There are soil gnats too. They live in potting soil. If bothersome, just pour some diluted dish washing solution over the soil, let it sit and then rinse though.

Also gnats or other micro-bugs can breed in the plumbing traps. pour some (1/2 or less) of PineSol down each sink, tub, shower drain or anywhere water collects. Do this at night before you go to bed giving the stuff time to work....or before you head out the door. You can also use bleach, but I prefer PineSol scent....barely.

Gnats are usually around foodstuffs, so put everything
away that you might have sitting out, especially bananas
or other fruits. If you put footstuffs in a waste basket, first
put it in a plastic bag and close up the bag. They will go
away once their source of hanging around ends.

It could be caused by garbage or something that draws gnats like peels from fruit or cat food. Check around your rooms and see what room is drawing more gnats...that could solve your problem.

there is something that's gone bad somewhere in there..ya need to find the source...sometimes i will have a few..and they'll be by the garbage,so i take it out..or they'll be around fruit or potatoes as well...do some investigatin..you'll find out where they're comin from
